He has painted for nearly three-quarters of a century and at 92 he continues to be inspired by the beauty surrounding him. He has been fortunate to live around the world: Europe, North Africa and the Middle-East, always documenting the light that shines from above. This light was particularly captivating in Jerusalem. Painting from life, he sat for a month on the rooftop of an old hotel at Jaffa Gate in 1994. He prayed through his paint brush, rendering a luminous contemplative image.
