Ruth Smith Meyer is the author of two previous novels, "Not Easily Broken" and "Not Far from the Tree", her memoirs, "Out of the Ordinary", and a children's book, "Tyson's Sad Bad Day". She also was an initiator, along with five other authors, in publishing "Good Grief People", a book to ease the sting of death, as well as being involved in several "Hot Apple Cider" books and other anthologies. She is a regular contributor to the devotional magazine, "Rejoice". Widowed twice, she is supported by her four children and four step-children and their offspring. She lives in a small town near London, Ontario as she continues her writing and community involvements with joy.
